Black Eagle Judo, winning an incredible 24 medals in all, the highest amount of medals won in a single tournament to date. Established in October 2007 Black Eagle Judo has proved hugely successful, with students making amazing progress, winning medals in National & International Championships.
This fantastic sport is ideal for children and adults of all ages, with its easy to learn techniques, fast pace progression and great fitness qualities. Our classes provides a unique opportunity to learn self discipline, self defence, and a fantastic new sport in a safe and friendly environment.

Black Eagle Judo has started our new program specially designed for 5 & 6 year olds. In the Judofun Koka Kids Program the children are taught judo using basic judo techniques as well as judo games as a fun way to encourage development of movement .............

Black Eagle Judo is in the process of setting up a Special Needs Judo Program here in Tipperary with the view to rolling it out nationwide.
We have enlisted the help of Mr Roy Court, the Welsh National SN Judo coach, In addition we are receiving help and advice from Ben van der Eng the European Judo Unions co-ordinator for Special Needs Judo.
We are also working with the North & South Tipperary Sports Partnerships, Sports Inclusion Disability Officer, Kathleen Finn.

Development Squad Travelling to UK

A ten person squad will be travelling from our club to the UK in November to take part in The Sussex Open 2 Star Judo Tournament.
Our development squad has been training extremely hard over the summer and are looking forward to upcoming Tournaments including the Irish International Judo Championships in October.
